Lake Forest Civic Academy 2026
The Lake Forest Leadership Academy encourages community involvement. Residents will learn about local history, internal city operations, and future plans for the community. The Academy starts on August 26 and will meet once a week on Wednesdays for eight evenings. It is free of charge. Sessions are scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Refreshments and food are provided for each session.

General Information
With more than 400 graduates over the past two decades, the City of Lake Forest is proud to kick off the 2026 Academy on Wednesday, August 26.
This engaging program offers a behind-the-scenes look at what makes Lake Forest naturally exceptional. Participants will hear directly from City departments and community partners, including the City Manager’s Office, Orange County Sheriff’s Department, Public Works, and more.
The 2026 Lake Forest Civic Academy will be held on Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. on the following dates:

- September 9
- September 16
- September 23
- September 30
- October 7
- October 14
By registering for the Lake Forest Civic Academy, participants agree to attend all eight sessions. If you cannot attend all sessions, please contact pio@lakeforestca.gov or call (949) 210-3069.
Attendance throughout the program is required to receive a Certificate of Completion presented by the Lake Forest City Council at the conclusion of the Academy.
Food and refreshments will be provided for all sessions.
